Glerups Size Guide – Find Your Fit 

Glerups use European (EU) sizing. To help you choose the right pair, use the Canadian size conversion chart below or, for the most accurate fit, measure your foot and compare the measurement to the Foot Length column.

Glerups are designed to have a snug, comfortable fit when new. As you wear them, the felted wool upper will give slightly and the inner sole will compress and adapt to your foot. For this reason, a snug initial fit is recommended rather than choosing a larger size to allow extra room. 

The measurements above come directly from Glerups Canada's current sizing information. Their collection listings show EU 51 as Canadian men's 17, although the standalone size-guide table currently stops displaying the Canadian men's conversion at size 50.

 How to Measure Your Feet for Glerups 

For the most accurate size, measure your feet barefoot.

  1. Place your heel against a wall.
  2. Measure from the wall to the end of your longest toe.
  3. Measure both feet, as one foot may be slightly longer than the other.

    Use the measurement from your longer foot.
  4. Compare that measurement with the Foot Length column in the chart above. 

Example: If your longest foot measures approximately 260 mm (10.24"), the Glerups chart corresponds to an EU 41, approximately a Canadian women's 10 or Canadian men's 8–8.5. 

 How Should Glerups Fit? 

Your new Glerups should feel firm and snug, but your toes should not be uncomfortably pressed against the slipper. Don't be concerned if they feel a little more fitted than a traditional loose house slipper when they're brand new.

The natural wool will give slightly as you wear them, while the footbed compresses and begins to conform to your foot. 

Glerups fit tip: Don't automatically size up to create a loose fit. Start with the Glerups size chart and your actual foot measurement.

 Between Sizes? 


If you're unsure which size to choose, measuring your foot is more reliable than relying only on your regular Canadian shoe size. Shoe sizing can vary between brands, while Glerups provides a specific foot-length measurement for every EU size.
